MRI has an expertise in building computer software products that relate to the math and science education industry. The company has developed and continues to expand its middle school, high school and college math curriculum solution. The graphing calculator and math language development software is constantly being enlarged and improved.
MRI has an on-going interest in the following areas:
The development of a Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS). To assist in this endeavor the company has hired the chief architect of the XOOPS open source content manager. We believe that this will speed the movement of MRI into the content delivery as well as content development market. See - www.xoops.org
The construction of Supplements that support the acquisition of math knowledge or that provide teachers with technology tools to assist them in motivating students to learn mathematics.
The construction of a Content Authoring and Display system.
The construction of a Computer Algebra System that supports the undergraduate mathematics curriculum. This will require a complete re-thinking of the User Interface and logic that supports the current systems.
All our current software products can be viewed and evaluated at www.mathresources.com. For an evaluation period beyond the 3 days please contact me at your convenience.
The existing products are distributed and sold through a series of vendor licenses. Our most active partner to date is Fourier Systems. Fourier is the maker of the new student learning device the NOVA5000. To learn more about the NOVA 5000 please visit www.fourier-sys.com
Leading edge products continue to be built. MRI is searching for the right distribution partner. We seek a corporation with a channel to the education market that is already generating revenue. This partner must understand and appreciate the change that strong digital content will bring to the education market.
