National Council of Teachers of Mathematics

MR has built several projects for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). "The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a global leader and authority in mathematics education, ensuring that all students have access to the highest quality mathematics teaching and learning. We envision a world where everyone is enthused about mathematics, sees the value and beauty of mathematics, and is empowered by the opportunities mathematics affords."

MR built the Dynamic Paper applet for NCTM and continues to contribute key NCTM products that provide engaging learning opportunities for students. "The Illuminations Dynamic Paper tool is limited only by your imagination. This tool allows you to create images of nets for 3 D shapes, tessellations of polygons, spinners with various numbers of sectors-you get the idea. After you create an image, you can print it out as a PDF activity sheet or export it in JPEG format for use in other applications or on the Web." See Dynamic Paper at - http://illuminations.nctm.org/ActivityDetail.aspx?ID=205

MR also continues to contribute to the development of Calculation Nation. MR has built 3 games and will build additional games in the near future. The MR built games (DigIt, Ker-Splash) are among the most popular on the Calculation Nation site. PrimeTime will be released shortly. McGraw-Hill Higher Education

This was a unique opportunity for MR. We provided quality assurance and copyediting services in the production of the Bauer/Westfall University Physics 1/E textbook plus the supporting online homework site. We also wrote and produced both the Instructor's Solutions Manual and the Student Solutions Manual. MR is pleased and very proud of the role we played in the development of this fine new textbook. For additional information on Drs. Bauer and Westfall's book please visit http://catalogs.mhhe.com/mhhe/viewProductList.do?cnt=14&catid=934356

MR has also provided QA services to all the quantitative disciplines within McGraw-Hill Higher Education. We have checked and re-checked thousands of exercises and solutions, covering content from Beginning Algebra to Mechanics of Materials, providing accurate homework help to students using McGraw-Hill textbooks.

The Mathematical Association of America

The National Science Foundation provided several million dollars to develop Digital Libraries. The mathematical digital library was sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). The MAA hired MR to build the infrastructure for the MathDL. The MathDL now houses and harvests an extremely large and robust selection of mathematical journals, articles and research monographs. You can visit the National Sciences Digital Library and the MathDL at the following addresses:

MR can produce material in the programming language and for the platform or platforms that are most effective for the client.
